 The Ministry of Environment has launched a campaign to promote the tourism industry and for products adhering to the Parque Natural de Andalucía Brand, which aims to disseminate and publicize the businesses located in natural parks accredited with this distinctive quality.
Among the initiatives being undertaken include sweepstakes travel a weekend accommodation for two people credited with the mark Nature. Thus, during the month of June, raffles will be conducted among the listeners of Radio Canal Sur 'Good Star', which is broadcast every Sunday from 9.00 am to 13.00 pm. The winners will receive a voucher for a stay for two people which provides accommodation to the next two nights and a tourism asset.
Also in the last edition of the Fair of Tourism and Rural Development ( Feran-tur), held in Seville in March, were taken from the visitors who purchase products from the brand or any activity of tourism activities, new tour packages for a weekend for two at any accommodation with the certificate of quality, with a choice of active tourism activity.
The Ministry of Environment has granted so far the Parque Natural de Andalucía mark to 698 tourism products and services of nature, provided by 151 companies located in protected enclaves of the autonomous region. With this distinctive, the Board aims to encourage business activities that promote sustainable economic development of natural parks, matching its preservation with the use of its resources.
Of these companies, 15 are agro-food market 52 natural products, which are distinguished because their raw material is obtained following the criteria of organic farming and integrated production. These companies sell products such as honey, water, orange oil or organic. Other 56 companies engaged in the manufacture of 401 craft products, including food, pottery, cosmetics, textiles, furniture, items skin, dried flowers and berries.
Finally, 80 companies offer 245 nature tourism services. Among the activities that promote these companies are the lodgings and accommodation in hotels, restaurants, canoe rental, hiking trails and other related knowledge and enjoyment of the natural environment.
Granting Brand Natural Park Andalusia, which began in January 2000, was regulated by an order of the Ministry of Environment of 15 December 2004 (BOJA No. 19/2005, January 28). Under this legislation, companies that want to get this distinctive quality of their products and services must first achieve a quality certification by an institution accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) and then apply to the Board.
