Winter Tea is soothing herbal infusion that is specially formulated to be consumed during cold weather. This warm formula includes ginger, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, all of which are considered in Ayurveda as herbs "that heat." The mixture is infused with peppermint, prized for its vapors of menthol and eucalyptus and basil, which is believed to favor breathing. The recipe comes complete with ten other herbs and spices used traditionally in Ayurveda to increase Agni (fire) and "burn" Love (blockages and impurities). For a perfect infusion, pour freshly boiled water over a tea bag. Let sit for 4 to 6 minutes or longer for a stronger flavor. Gently squeeze the tea bag for the active ingredients fully release into the water. Enjoy the days of unstable weather or just to get extra power in the cold season.
