The campaign
'Trees, Forests for Life', the Ministry of Education and the Environment, will provide information and plants
non-university schools of our community will be involved in self-defense work, conservation and restoration of forests through the environmental education campaign 'Trees, Forests for Life', which has launched the Regional Government of Andalusia.
This initiative, included in the Environmental Education Program ALDEA, driven by the Ministries of Environment and Education, awareness and facilitate the participation of school children in areas of reforestation and improved forest Andalusian heritage through the provision of seedlings and seedling distribution of educational materials .
To this end the Ministry of Environment has proposed to the school to work on four themes - 'Trees and reforestation', 'Creating a nursery', 'Orchard and Garden "and" Fire-forestales' each teacher to choose which best suits their needs. This initiative is the successor to the campaigns of environmental education 'Jara' and 'Grow your tree ', which have a total of 534,605 students since 1994. So in the 'Grow your tree', launched in 1994 by the Junta de Andalucía under the ALDEA, involving more than 529,000 students from 3541 schools have been planted about one million trees in throughout the autonomous community of Andalusia. The Program JARA, which has developed since 2004 in areas affected by forest fires, involving a total of 5605 students in 45 schools.
